Spring 2011 in Natchez, Mississippi

Fun, friends, houses,food, picnics, trees, plants, and friendly locals! What a fun-filled three days we enjoyed. I took two friends from Austin to Natchez to enjoy "Southern thangs"-- we did get our fill, I think.

She inspired me to blog

 A friend sent me a photo today and he mis-identified the mansion. It was not what he said it was but it was The Columns near Florence, SC. I did a google search and quickly located this blog which contains great photos of period costumes and the historic mansion. I hope that she and I will become acquainted as we have similar interests, although I can NOT sew.  ; )
